Anyone remember this important piece of history?? They're back! According to this article at Gizmodo.com Reebok is re-issuing these sweet sneaks!

The Yankees have a tough road ahead of them this weekend.. they need to win tonight to keep up with the Twinkies! Who'd of thought... if the contraction would have taken place, there would be no Twins! Go Yankees!

Super Duper

It's that time of the week here again friends! KLPR Radio time! For those of you who are deprived, deeply, Super Duper is a song by Hucus Pick. They are such a great band! I miss seeing them. They have so much fun at their shows.. all of their songs only have three chords in them so that they can jump around and if they get lost, the have a 33% Chance of getting back into the song!

I called Adam last night... sounds like he's planning on moving in two more weeks, the good new is that he is going to at least visit us this weekend. I think he's excited to get back here, but I hope he remembers how boring it gets around here sometimes!

Nick called me today, sounds like I am a go to visit a week from Saturday. Katie is going to have to miss the trip, she has to work : ( Sounds like things with Nick are good! He is redesigning some websites for the Athletic Dept. at Bethel, and is gearing up for his trip to Athens in January!

This post really sounds like the Christmas cards my Mom writes every year... well I guess these guys are part of my family!

Rain Rain Rain... Whats with it?

It has rained all day long it seams... I am never going to get my lawn mowed! I suppose this is good for nature, but for me it is bad. I am like the wicked witch from The Wizard of Oz!

I'm Melting!

The Vice Presidential Debate was last night, did anyone else watch it? I saw the bulk of it in my Media Management class. I was glad I did! It was really neat watching those guys go at it, formally of course. My mind is still made up though, I just won't tell.

For those of you who love to chat... (Jason)... there is now an open chatroom over on the KLPR website. Click here to begin... but keep it clean eh?

Back to School...

Yep... I am headed back to my night class tonight. Not quite happy about this, I am wondering if it is worth it to even go tonight? It seems that all we do is go over these slides created by the book publisher, and maybe have some sort of conversation that the class can all participate in once in a while. So to go or not to go - that is the question...

I have been looking around at different sites lately, and have seen a lot of things that are new to me... For instance RSS. This is a script that pulls things like headlines and topics from websites that you like (Slashdot, Timbly.com). I was impressed, and the latest version of Firefox makes it really easy to do...

Also, Leo Laporte, the "Call for Help" guru is now on the radio. You can listen to his shows via his website, Leoville.com. I have been listening to the airchecks, and must say, they are entertaining. It's good to hear Leo again!

The SUSE

All but three of you are probably wondering what SUSE is... All I can say is that it's a Linux Distribution... do you know what that is?? Lets just say it's like Windows, except free...

Anyways, the Novell Corp. has kindly sent me a bunch of free software, including SUSE to use, so I decided to go ahead and use it. It's not free, typically, but this version isn't very expensive, and way less than the $199.00 price tag of Windows XP. I can't really tell the difference. If I had to I could switch... But I'd really rather use my iBook.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Sweet Dreams

It's Official, Katie and I are now into our new bedroom! Katie, Dad, Mom, Austin, and of course myself all worked VERY hard on Saturday to get things done. Dad and I layed all the carpet, and got the trim all installed, while Mom and Katie worked on getting everything cleaned up and ready to go. By about 3pm, we were all completely goners. Katie and I did manage to get the bed from her Parents house, however getting it up the stairs was a trick! I didn't think it was going to go... Hmmm - a year worth of work for a bedroom, and now it's not going to have a bed? Great thinking!

Sunday was a day of rest... I was beat, and I think Dad even got sick. We made it through church and spent the rest of the day doing non-physical activities. Jason and I got a good start on the KLPR website though...
