Blazing Cold

Here in Kearney it should be about 100 degrees in the shade right now... however, Mother Nature says that we've had enough of that and it's only about 70-80. Nice huh? I wish it would stay this way.

This week has been pretty busy... lot's of work at the store, and even more at home. I am beginning to think that we may never get done with the basement... Jon and Matt have been busy, and I have been unmotivated... Maybe I can get something into move-in ready by next week?? I know they are excited to move in, and I am too... it's going to be fun!

Alex tells me that he got internet on Tuesday, but I haven't seen anything thus far. I would really like to see some pictures of his apartment.. and share them with all of you. Evidently we've got nothing... or maybe his computer is done for??

Welcome to the New World!

Well... the wait is finally over! I am typing this on my own 12" iBook. I got a really sweet deal on it! I was going to buy a new one for about $999.00, but decided to feel around the area to see what was out there. I found a guy down in Alma (about an hour away) that had a 12" to sell. He just bought it a month ago, and the only use that it saw was a few games that his wife played. He told me that he dropped an extra 512MB of memory into it, as well as an Airport Extreme Card, bluetooth, and an Apple Bluetooth Mouse and KB. All together he probably had about $1700 into the system. He told me that he'd be happy if he could get a grand out of it, and I nearly drove off the road (Nick and I were driving to Colorado).

He stopped by today, and delivered the goods, it was all as he said that it would be! I was really happy, and am pleased with this purchase.

News Flash!!! Did you know that the Grand that I spent on this notebook is the most that I have ever shelled out for a computer?? Crazy huh?
